RGV Activity Directors Association Appreciation Luncheon

Robert Ferguson has been the President of the RGV Activity Directors' Association and is the person who developed the Showcase in the Valley. For that we Activity Directors in the Valley are very grateful. Today, he and his wife, Billie, initiated an Activity Directors' Appreciation Day. We hope it catches on in the Valley. It will be held March 1st of each year.

Southern Comfort was the host park for this event and it was a terrific party. We had several entertainers today. We started out with Helen Russell & Company and then went on to Gene Turner (the Pick Pocket), Rusty Rierson,  Dave and Daphne and Spittin' Image.  We enjoyed them all.

We had a nice lunch consisting of Chicken Salad with pecans and cranberries on a croissant, pistachio salad, chips and cookies for dessert. Had a lot of great reviews on the chicken salad.
