Resurface Shuffle Board Courts $7,000
Bocce Ball Upgrades $5000
Replace Main Hall Door for ADA $5,500
Replace Pool Wood Fence $2,000
Replace Floor Women's Bathroom $1500

Changes in staffing:
You asked for your own manager and now you have one XOXO – Thank you, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for that.

Maintenance – Currently recruiting two maintenance positions. Looking for individuals with plumbing, carpentry, and electrical experience. This will reduce paying vendors for services and will open up more financing for maintenance equipment and repairs.

Activity Director – Mary Benfield will be the full time activity director as of January 1st.

Assistant Activity Director - Lee Benfield will replace Mary’s current position. They have experience working together in parks and I received multiple letters of recommendations from several of the properties that they have worked or volunteered at. We are excited to have Lee apart of our team. And he’s super great when it comes to technology so we’re very excited to have him join the team.

Marlene Duke will continue to be the Activity Clerk.

Deb Girard – Kitchen Manager – A program that satisfies both the residents and kitchen employees/volunteers is currently in development. I know there have been some issues. I am working towards resolving those.

New Committees:

AED – Defibrillator – Myra Halderson

Neighborhood Crime Watch – Vicki Wilt – Review paperwork from recent meeting

Currently identifying list of vehicles that do not have stickers. Please go in and purchase a sticker if you have not. (Rule Book)
All block captains have been given a list of lots/homes that they are responsible for being aware of any suspicious activity and assisting residents in properly identifying and identifying needs pertaining to neighborhood safety and crime watch.

Other items requested by residents to discuss:

Bingo. Who is in charge?
Diana and Jerry have taken the lead on taking care of Bingo cards, machine, and monies. They have done so for many years and it requires more than just calling bingo numbers. We need to have better communication as a community. Recognize that Diana and Jerry are in a sense responsible for the bingo accessories and have taken responsibility for organizing the games, it’s only fair to communicate.

Be nice to guests and previous residents who are visiting. - I have received report from previous residents that they have been told that they are not welcome here anymore or don’t belong here anymore.

You have a manager who has a servant's heart. I don’t conduct business that way and I make everyone feel welcome. Please do the same. It’s the right thing to do. It’s the feeling you got that made you stay that’s given me the gift of getting to know you and it’s what you would want if you were visiting a business/hotel/friends park etc.
