Today was our Party Under the Palms Get-together. We had over 360 residents sign up for the party and we had a gorgeous day for outdoor activities and food!
I took a ton of pictures but we had so many people and I wanted to try and include everyone.
Vickie's husband, Jacob, and Ugo were our grill masters.
We had three Giant Jenga Games out on the lawn and there was a lot of activity at each of the three games.
Looks like this one is about to topple.
Bocce was played and there was a large audience for that.
Lots of lawn chairs filled with residents who watched
the games and enjoyed the band.
Vickie and her husband made us a giant Pick Up Sticks
Game and lots of people tried it out too!
I decided to try and get a picture of the tower falling. It
looked to me like it would topple at any time.

Thanks to Victoria for the idea to make the Party Under the Palms a special event! Thanks to the Amigos who provided great music for the event. They also do it for free since they are Canadians and can't earn money on their events. Thanks also to all the volunteers who made this a successful event: Deb Girard who did the shopping and made the salads for the event, Victoria's husband, Jacob, and Ugo Cesario (our grillers), Marlene Duke who helped with games and whatever needed to be done, and Victoria, Deb Girard, Jeanette Roberts, and Linda Syberson who helped to serve.
It was a great event!
